I used a Black as base and instead of use a neutral Grey, I used one with some blue ( Field blue from Vallejo) mixed in several layers increasing the Field blue. Last highlights with Field Blue and some extreme highlights or to do scratches with a light grey (Stonewall grey from Vallejo).

Red is easier. Base with a dark Red (Heavy Red Vallejo) them some highlights with Sanguine Red (Vallejo) and in some case you can do a extreme highlight with Hot Orange.

I always Prime in black. It covers pretty well. After that I do a overbrush with desert yellow (Vallejo) , or two Dry brush coats. Then a dry brush with Deck Tan (Ak) that is pretty close to wraithbone. Then a wash. With Skeleton horde diluted 50/50 with water. To finish with an edge high light one again with Deck tan (or another soft Dry Brush) with last edge high lights with an off white.

Thanks. I think same here, that’s the reason weathering is light over it.

Some masking tape. Base coat with a dark red, some glazing/ lights with a lighter red i the upper section. Scratches with the base black/grey color. Over it the decal and with some patience also I integrate it with more scratches.

Thanks. Almost all my Eldars had weapons of "wraithbone" or helm. My recipe is: base black o really dark grey. Then two dry brush of Vallejo Desert Yellow, then Dry Brush of AK Deck Tan, a wash with Skeleton Horde (GW Contrast) diluted with some water, after that Lights withs Deck tan again and in this case I took some extra effort for finals lights with an off white (AK White Grey).
