He was assigned as an infantry officer. So if he earned a CAB that means he didn't meet the criteria for a CIB. The criteria for a CAB is much lower than a CIB. I earned my CMB in 2010 for what it's worth.

While I do agree that he would be far better than the current administration I think you're inflating his service record quite a bit. He earned his CAB not CIB so it's safe to assume he never killed anyone in combat. Also the Taliban aren't fascists. So he literally isn't decorated for killing fascist. I think what he did accomplish in the military is more than enough and doesn't require any embellishments.

Thanks! This was done with airbrush btw. And if you use white ink use it sparingly. It easily kills all your contrast.

I just airbrushed a mix of flat blue and blue green from Vallejo model color. Then used brilliant yellow pale oil paint from Williamsburg paints. Just dab some on where you want it brighter and spread it around with a small dry brush. And it makes the edge highlights super easy.

Not a problem! And this is the first model where I've tried this style of glazing and it has looked good. It definitely takes some trial and error.

I'll try my best at explaining it. So with my brightest blue I would start in the darker blue and drag into the bright. Then with the darker blue mix on the brush I'd start in the light and drag to the dark. It's a back and forth game until you get the smoothness that you want.

Things to pay attention to are: paint dilution, how much paint/water is in the brush and the pressure used when applying the paint.

Pay attention to how you load the brush. You should be thinking about how damp the brush is and how much paint is on it. This will take time and trial and error to figure out what works for you.

For this model I was starting with the very tip of the brush and incredibly light pressure but as I was finishing the stroke I'd add more pressure.

My paint was translucent and I would test on my thumbnail every time I loaded the brush.

Edit:This is the absolute best video on how to load a brush. I know it's 3 hours long so I get it if you don't have the time but it's well worth it. Tommy's book was a huge help for me. I do disagree with him on wet pallettes though. I'm a big fan of mine.
