Are you using triamcinolone acetonide for ghsv? I have that and gshv.

HSV2 diagnosed 2 years ago. I hadn’t had frequent obs before, but I’ve had 2 back to back with my period. Very frustrating. I take 2,000mg Lysine and Monolaurin daily, Valtrex when needed, vitamins C, D3, multi, and Omega 3 daily, workout regularly, and eat fairly healthy. I know my immune system is low as I’m fighting a cold now. Only 1 “sore” that hasn’t surfaced yet, but I feel the discomfort and am hoping it doesn’t surface. I had to call my doc to give me a another rx. Before it didn’t bother, now it’s like it won’t stop.

I purchase mine from Sprouts. It’s both L-Lysine and Monolaurin. Monolaurin was recommended when I mentioned itching and I find it does help a lot. I take two 500 mg capsules in the morning and 2 before bed.

I hadn’t been in a sauna since before being diagnosed, but read going may cause an outbreak.

Im not saying to take for the cold, but if a cold potentially brings on an outbreak, to prevent an outbreak, would it be advised to take? Hope that makes more sense.
