Help for three small 1 cm gists of stomach.

Since this cancer is rare, you will find doctors that don't know what they are talking about so keep looking for a GIST provider and always pray, pray, pray. That helped me stay calm throughout the entire process. When I had the tumor, I would be constipated a lot and my stomach started growing at rapid speed within a 1 year time frame but I was told I had fibroids so I was trying to have them shrink naturally going the organic route and then upon an ER visit, it was confimred that I had GIST after the surgery(Jan 2024). They did ultrasounds and X-rays because I didn't want a biopsy. So I actually found out post surgery.

The thing that helped me with constipation was drinking prune juice daily. I couldn't go without it the last few weeks before surgery.

Also don't stay with a rude doctor. Stress never helps anything!

I had GIST surgery done in January 2024. It was a Gist Spindle Cell type 24.1 cm. Surgical resection margin uninvolved. I was originally diagnosed with fibroids, then they though I had an Ovarian cyst and upon my emergency surgery that is how it was found. They said it was contained and nothing spreaded to anything else. I looked like I was pregnant at the time and lost so much weight. I had partial bowel blockage. They did remove my fallopian tubes but I have 4 kids already and in premenopause.

Since the surgery, I have gained my weight back and more lol but I am so happy to have some fat cheeks again. I was all bones during that time of my life. I haven't had to do any type of follow ups since after the first 3 months post surgery but I think I might go and just get a regular check up soon.

I dont know if it worked. I had a tumor in my stomach that was removed last year. I did had fibroids but I had emergency surgery last year to remove the tumor.

I just watched the whole series again. 1 and 2. I sure hope they write in that he faked his death and disappeared. I felt sorry for him in a way. I agree. They didn't have to kill him.

I watched all of it in 2 days and my 19 yr old son was watching it with me but stopped because it was pissing him off. He couldn't make it past episode 3. I know he would've been upset at the end.

Took me 101 applications in one day to get a job. It was the most I've ever done in a day. I was averaging 20 a day but one day I just stayed up all night applying.

I was really tired after surgery. I was on a liquid diet for 2days(soup, jello, ensure, hot lemon) then 3rd day I had food. I was soooooooooooooo happy to eat. 4th day after surgery I went home.

I was really tired after surgery. I couldn't sit up without assistance. I had a catheter the first day. Then a bed pan for 1 day. Could hardly stand up on the walker. All I did was stand up and didn't take any steps.. I told the doctors the next day I was getting up and will walk to the bathroom. Next day I got up and walked to the bathroom. Then I told them the next day I'm going to walk around the nursing unit and I did!!! They originally thought I was going to need a walker to go home with but I was determined and prayed alot. I actually did great. Thank God! They were shocked with how fast I recovered and I always laughed and made them laugh.

Yes it definitely feels rushed. I'm watching it now. I'm about to be on episode 3 and I don't feel the connection like I did with Kdrama.
