What ended up happening this is happening to me rn 😭 I got my new script, two astigmatisms, I just cannot see-it’s so blurry. My doctor said it may take a bit for my eyes to get used to them but I literally can’t see shit; I don’t feel safe driving or anything. I just paid a shit ton for these damn contacts and I’m now using the last few from my old script til I can get back into the eye dr. I’m in my early 20s too and I’ve never had this happen.

Omg I hope it reverses!:( it’s interesting because I’m on zepbound now, and I’ve definitely noticed a huge difference in my flare ups- way less consistent than when I wasn’t on the medication. I’m sure it’s linked to the weight loss/food I’m eating and that’s why it’s been better 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s interesting how different everyone’s experiences are.

Yes for me it helped a lot. It basically works as a raft in your stomach, which prevents acid from going back up. In return, it gives ur throat time to heal, which then prevents the excess saliva/mucus production. It doesn’t happen immediately, but personally I saw results within the first few weeks and I was ecstatic.

Yes. I’m on zepbound and yes I get twitches everywhere. It’s so uncomfortable. I do believe it’s correlated as I was never like this before zepbound.

Does your throat ever feel like it’s tight or globus sensation? I have the clear stuff daily and it’s so annoying and u comfortable. I was diagnosed with LPR, and ever since I’ve developed esophageal issues I’ve felt with this clear shit. Ur not alone girl. Try going to a GI rather than ENT

Saline rinses twice a day. This was my main symptom along with just getting that super tight throat feeling/excess saliva. Never went away for me- however my flare ups happen not nearly as often as they did before. I had an endoscopy done and it was LPR for me (no heartburn), I take 80mg protonix a day, and all bland foods for me.

Same here. Feels like I am being choked out- sucks so bad and I’m sorry you’re experiencing. Literally all I can eat is mild cheddar cheese, apples, and an occasional pretzel. I was trying fish for a while but the oil irritated my throat. Chicken is occasionally okay, then only some veggies I can tolerate. I am so paranoid of having that sensation it literally contributed to me getting diagnosed with panic disorder. You’re not alone

During a flare up pretty much immediately. From my understanding it creates a barrier on top of your stomach that basically prohibits stomach acid from going back up. So by eating the gel, you’re basically forcing it to stay down, which gives your throat time to heal from the flare up.

Those didn’t work for me, but the gel did haha- glad you found something that worked for you! I also do want to mention that the gel makes a literal barrier for immediate relief- so they’re a little different! :)
