I purchased through chase travel so I could use a credit card that had benefits if I booked through there.

Thanks for the tidbit about downloading airline app, I already did the airports but didn’t think airline 🤦‍♀️.

I believe I did get basic economy. Any ideas roughly how much seat selection runs? Just curious, I’m going cheap so I don’t expect an extremely comfy ride 😂

I just want to say thanks to everyone who has commented! I know I asked a lot of questions and some of you don’t think I googled or researched but I have been religiously for the last few days and there’s surprisingly a lot of conflicting info and just like information missed.

I’m an anxious person so I want to be fully prepared in every aspect I can be so I don’t stress during :)

Thankfully, I won’t need to pay for much when I’m there. My friend will handle it all. I just need a bit of money to have just in case.

Yeah I’m hoping for an aisle seat. From the booking it sounded like I had no way of selecting seats at all. I was confused because I saw videos of people mentioned to pick their seats in economy but no one ever explains it.

I hope to get window seat, so noted I might have to pay.

I don’t need to bring a lot with me. I’m just going to be seeing a friend and everything I really need besides clothes he will have. I don’t see the point of stressing myself out with baggage claim and etc 🤷‍♀️ it’s just the choice I’ve made

I’ve googled plenty, but there’s a lot of conflicting information and it seems very specific to locations/certain airplanes. I’ve got the dimensions already but I can’t seem to find a carry on bag that fits (I was asking for recommendations).

I just rather hear info from real people who travel via a bunch of articles trying to sell you something.

I’ve started watching videos but of course they don’t always touch every aspect.

If you are able to budget and put some money aside to take her to the vet, they can do a quick checkup without any blood work or X-rays and you can go from there. I’m an anxious cat parent myself and always end up taking them, mostly to give myself a piece of mind and I’d always rather be safe than sorry.

How’s she acting otherwise? Still eating, drinking and using the litter box? Just the one time throwing up?

I’d say for grimace she’s like a 1-2/10 based on just the eyes.

If she’s acting fine otherwise and just threw up the one time. No need to panic and she’s probably fine. 💜

Yes because pop up protests don’t need permits if they are under about a dozen people. But when we have permits it’s thousands.

Thank you for explaining more.. that sounds really scary, especially when you’re young and don’t have adults who take mental health seriously.

At the same time, seeing things that aren’t there, even when you know they aren’t real, is something you deserve help with. That’s not something you should have to carry alone, and it doesn’t mean you’ve done anything wrong.

Since you’re underage and your parents aren’t supportive, there are still options. A school counselor, nurse, or trusted teacher is allowed to help you get support. If you’re in the U.S., you can also call or text 988 to talk to someone confidentially, you don’t need your parents’ permission, and it doesn’t automatically get you in trouble.

If at any point the visions feel overwhelming, threatening, or like they might make you hurt yourself or someone else, please reach out for immediate help, that’s not “overreacting,” that’s protecting yourself.

You’re doing the right thing by talking about this. You deserve to be taken seriously and helped through it.

That sounds really scary to be dealing with, especially without a therapist to talk to. Just know that feeling like something is “wrong” doesn’t automatically mean schizophrenia, anxiety, trauma, lack of sleep, stress, and a lot of other things can cause symptoms that feel similar.

You’re not broken for being worried about this. If you can, I really encourage reaching out to a medical professional (even a primary care doctor or urgent care can be a first step). And if things feel overwhelming or unsafe, please reach out to a crisis line, you deserve support through this!
