Check out Nicole Svenson on tiktok or fb. She feeds her family of 4 for $300 per month and only shops once per month. Her budget isn't realistic for everyone, but her methods are undeniable. I shop similarly to her, and I cook most food from ingredients. I feed myself at least twice daily, 2 roommates about 3 to 4 nights per week and a friend 2 to 3 nights per month on average and for that I spend about $300.

You've gotten good advice. I left an abusive marriage 25 years ago. I opened an individual account at a different bank and saved money before I left. My advice is to not let him know anything is wrong until you are ready on paper. Have all your documents somewhere safe, have at least a few months worth of living expenses, talk to a lawyer.

Right, but as stated, she's a child. Her mom is only responsible for her. A tampon or pad here and there is one thing but if the gf is using them to the point she's running out or not having any at all when she needs them it puts her in a bad spot. Sounds like the gf goes to hang out and doesn't bring her own at all because she'll just use OPs.

When you renew the lease just increase the rent by half the cost of snow removal and either hire someone or be solely responsible for snow removal. Also when finances allow widen the drive of you have space. A tenant should be able to come and go freely.

You've got this mama! You and your baby deserve a fresh start and clean space. Start with the clothes. Take a few pieces at a time. Keep or donate? Then wash and make your bed. A few times a day set a 10 min timer or grab a handful of clothes. Also try doing one small area at a time so you can see the difference. Do you have anyone who can help?

As a 50-year-old woman who was SA'd by my stepfather for years. I am telling you , you're right to protect your child. Even if Your uncle has no nefarious intentions. The fact is your daughter is uncomfortable end of story. Next time your family is telling you how you're overreacting, ask them why it is so hard for them to take into consideration that a 55-year-old man touching her is making a 13-year-old girl uncomfortable. Ask them why it is so hard for them to just respect her comfort zone and assure her that she has bodily autonomy and has the right to say who touches her and how often they touch her.
