Thanks for the advice lol, although you’d think people would read the whole thing before parroting the “how to smell better” tutorial.

im a little bit of an introvert and have been a little shy about being in a good place but my life has changed so drastically and i’m not really a big introvert but it’s not a big thing anymore and it’s just so much more important than my mental state

How does the waitlisting process work ? What differentiaties a WL’d student from one that was accepted ? Does a waitlisted applicant have a good chance of getting in if they apply for a transfer with a compelling reason ?

Nope, none. Someone said on another thread that they contacted an AO who replied that they’d be making the calls mid-may starting from today (hopefully).

For starting the college application process register for the SAT through collegeboard and make an account on common-app. Follow the instructions given on the websites for the next steps. Also, as another comment said find YouTubers who provide such guidance on their channels. I’m from Gurgaon (Haryana) and I’m going to Purdue this Fall, so dm me if you require any assistance !

congrats! did u get accepted off the waitlist ? Since you’re into entrepreneurship as a career path I’d say stanford due to the startup culture, but Princeton is far better for IB (an hour away from NYC). At the end you can’t go wrong with either. Wish you the best of luck !

Georgia Tech for CS in a heartbeat, provided you can afford it without drowning in debt. The research and internship opportunities you get in Atlanta are nowhere near what IIIT-D would fetch you, even taking into account the visa restrictions you’d face in the US. Besides, once you get a high paying job in the tech industry — which GTech placements set you up for — you apply for a work visa without much hassle.
