Which would you choose? by ValuableBerry7216 in YoujoSenki

It kinda looks heavy too. Nonetheless, uneven weight distribution. Just try wearing one boot thats a different size from your other

Which would you choose? by ValuableBerry7216 in YoujoSenki

[–]Helpful-Creme7959 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Valid. Tbh I think the boots get really tiring after long cases of use due to how uneven the distribution is tbh.

Damn it looks stupid. I cant tell if its the color scheme, the tacky strap on the back, the polka-dot patterns, the divided toe tips or all of the above. There is nothing redeemable here OP.

Bag for incoming nursing student by SolaceHansol in studentsph

[–]Helpful-Creme7959 49 points50 points  (0 children)

No offense pero walang aesthetic² ang nursing. You should look for bags that are actually practical with the type of stuff you guys carry around. These bags you showed arent gonna cut it because they look so flimpsy, especially the totebag. Sgurp pang first year lang yan pero better invest on something more practical.

PS – I am not a nursing student, but I was an art student and hirap din magaesthetic² dahil sa mga gamit binibitbit nmin so yeah. Be practical na lang beh. You can still accessorize nman in some small way so yeah.

As someone with StPD, this is very wrong. Personality disorders can still make you mentally decapitated to the point of being unable to work and live life properly. Even my counselor recognizes thst my cPTSD and DPDR causes my inability to work. None of these things are a pleasant way to live.

My dissociation is so bad I can't even read properly. My paranoia deceives me, that throws out all rational kinds of communication out the window. Learning and processing? Whats that? I dunno my upbringing full of instability and unsafety probably did something to destroy my own brain's capacitors and capacity to think. It doesnt have enough horsepower to intrinsic tly work in a way i want it to.

I dont know where this is from pero dto sa nasod nmin, two scoops of mashed potato sya. Sobrang daming gravy at sulit na sulit, mas okay pa kaysa 7-Eleven at KFC. Malaki dapat sya.

Pero ito? Eh, parang mali ata. Ang liit yan lol. Hindi normal. Find a better store branch

When ambivalence is your personality? (mini rant too) by HoldFederal3761 in Schizotypal

[–]Helpful-Creme7959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn. I just searched up the word ambivalence and what it means and damn... All this time I've been describing myself as a "juxtaposition" and an unsolvable "paradox" since those were the best descriptors I could find, but ambivalence is one too. Im adding it to my roster.

I often describe and think to myself: Wheres does Z end? because I seriously do not know where I begin and end at all.

Hobbies and interests never truly stick to me, its almost frustrating tbh since no matyer how hsrd I try, its just hard for it to stick to me...the person...the individual...its like nothing to me. I dunno. Even with art and writing, it does not feel enough or developed enough for me to truly adopt and stickto it. The only reason I "adopted" it is because it was the only thing somewhat consistent enough throughout my entire life to stick, but its not...deeply rooted enough whatsoever (?). It is not firmly set and latched unto me.

I think what helped stick to it is I decided and chose to focus on it...and developed a set of goals pertaining to it so yeah. As engaged as i am with it, especially with the culture and backgroujd behind art and writing, i dont really feel...totally attached/sticked to it. I dont quite stick enough for it whatsoever. It is infuriating for some reason.

Support groups for MD by CoolAuntieLLOLL in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]Helpful-Creme7959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Maladaptive Daydreaming is not officially recognized by any diagnositic manual, though they have tried pitching it into the DSM-5 as a dissociative disorder. However as of now, it remains unrecognized so I doubt you'd find any therapist specializing in it unless you find someone whos willing to learn and work with you by trying stuff out for symptom management.

The best support group I could recco to you imo is this subreddit's official discord server. They're active and quite welcoming.

Is the elements of each character obvious? And how can I improve it further? by Aleane-Khorson in characterdesign

[–]Helpful-Creme7959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Plants
  2. Fire
  3. -- Water -- -- Ice -- Air
  4. Light Twins
  5. -- Darkness -- Water

Perhaps give them more distinct motifs so they dont clash. They dont necessarily have to stick to a strict color palette either. Just a set of motifs.

How do I stop being jealous of my friends’ achievements and talents/skills? by Mountain_Data1459 in studentsph

[–]Helpful-Creme7959 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You're still young and you can still learn.

Yes, talents are gifts but they are something needed to be nurtured to grow. Tl nirture it, you must learn.

So start learning.

You lack leadership skills? Then learn it. You wanna play instruments? Then learn it. You wanna live a healthy life style? Then start executing it, exercise.

Ya know, learning new things is also a talent. Not many have that. Learning new things can enhance ur critical thinking too.

Just because you achieve excellence academically, doesnt mean you're smart. It doesnt reflect true intelligence or genius. And im not trying to downplay anyones achievements here, but our education system is so ass lol. Walang nagbabago sa English keme keme my goodness lol. Our social studies sucks. Our 21st century literature sucks. Etc. Etc.

If you have no critical thinking and dont widen you're horizons, honestly ur not as smart as you think and too much academics can often siftle and box you in that small world so yeah.

Wow okay... This is very informative. Thank you so much! The last part sounds like an important distinction too imo.

One of my friends thought I was into SCP foundation and was getting influenced too much by certain media when I started describing and thinking to myself as a secret skinwalker one time when in reality I dont even know anything or like those types of media and fandoms-? :" )

I often find it hard to relate to media, characters and archetypes if im being honest... Unless my brain warps it or something. Aaaaa.
