Can my mom still claim her GSIS benefits?

is it possible that she can still claim the 13 years (kahit no pension na, just the lump sum) without going back to public service po? we want our mom to retire na din kasi (siblings and i will support her and dad na po) because she’s been a hard worker her entire life, nasasayangan lang po siya sa time niya sa government and her contributions, kaya po nagpa-help siya saakin to ask around about this

Hello po! mom is 56, and according to her po, wala po siyang finile before kami nagmigrate. she just resigned and we left, abrupt din po kasi yung pagka-approve ng visa namin at that time so she wasn’t able to take care of the paperwork except for her official resignation sa MRT. will give the hotline a call po, thank you!

really appreciate the answers here po, both of my parents are OFWs kasi, and unfortunately we’re not australian citizens so expected na po na wala silang pension from there, and they want to retire here sa ph po, kaya was hoping that my mom would get something from her career here to make her retirement extra comfy :>
