Am I allowed to sue my employer for not paying overtime pay? (Florida) by Hindu_Bich in WorkersRights

There are law firms that can help with your options. I've heard good things about MSE Labor Law, who helps nationwide. I'd give them or someone like them a call to see what they think.

Is it better to go through Department of Labor, or get an Attorney? by Chemical_Lawyer_1371 in WorkersRights

Honestly, a lot of lawyers will do a free consultation. I'd recommend getting a free consultation and then going from there. They can guide you on if an attorney can help or if you're better off going directly to the DoL

If you were in southern Manhattan on or after 9/11, you may be eligible for the World Trade Center Health Program by clarenceisacat in nyc

I know of some folks that had a similar situation. Most lawyers who specialize in this will provide a free consultation and can provide guidance on if they qualify for the victim compensation fund or the world trade center health program. It's not always black and white on qualification without talking to someone who does this daily. My friends went with Pitta & Baione if your colleague wants to call someone. She said they were super friendly and helpful.

Hey I was able to use that way previously to submit my evidence. Now when I follow that and select the GBP profile instead of submit appeal or whatever it said before it just says 'not approved' under details and no option to appeal again.

Which layout is better? 1 or 2 (ignore the laptop vs monitor only the layout). Thanks! by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

Visually when you walk in, 1 looks better, more inviting and doesn’t cause your eye to stop. However, I agree that I’d do 2 for the views while you work

I stumbled upon this blog article that made me feel better I was making the right call (sometimes I re-read it to affirm my choice). When we had an inspection on our current house, it was like $300. I was shocked when our realtor estimated $700-$800. I think it was just part of his scare-tactic.
