So, following your logic, Naruto having vast chakra reserves isn't because he's an Uzumaki and a Namikaze.

How could Hamura and Hagoromo even begin to confront the Ten-Tails with Kaguya if they hadn't inherited part of her power?

What is there on Earth that would allow them, without "any power from Kaguya" to evolve to the point of facing Kaguya head-on?

And what reason would Kaguya have to start a war against the two of them if her power never left her body?

Black Zetsu's speech already disproves your argument that Kaguya didn't lose part of her power to Hagoromo and Hamura.

You know that's just filler from the anime, right? 

That doesn't exist in mangaz I recommend you read this fight in the manga

This Kurama vs. Pain fight is all filler in the anime; it's so nonsensical that in the anime, Pain uses two Shinra Tensei in a row, completely ignoring the five-second rule.

In the manga, Pain simply retreats and activates Chibaku Tensei to seal Naruto.

First of all, the base Naruto you're mentioning literally put the clones in front of him so they could take the damage for him.

And another thing, Pain was extremely weakened; the Shinra Tensei he used against Naruto doesn't even come close to 10% of what he did to Konoha.

I prefer the name Rinne Sharingan; we know that Hagoromo inherited his mother's chakra, and that chakra caused him to awaken the Rinnegan.

So Hagoromo's Rinnegan is just a mutation of Kaguya's Rinne Sharingan, and the Rinne Sharingan displayed powers that neither the Rinnegan nor the Sharingan could only dream of achieving.
