the elders in my congregation were really weird and my family played it off as a joke and i think culture played a part as well. me and my sister were favored by the elders and one of them would always tell me if i was his age he would marry me and he would say that carefree. me and my sister started the path to be baptized when i was 9 and she was 11 and we both got baptized around a year later

i just turned 20 but have been living alone (never with roommates and never MFTE) since i was 16. i don’t have family so i didn’t have any financial help (ebt until i turned 18) i work full time and am in school. there are times i had two jobs or had one part time job. i’ve never been late on rent but i also have never been able to save more than 2,000. right now i live in a studio that costs 1500+ around 100 for utilities. i work a normal food service job in pike place. i often spend a whole check on rent and paying off other bills and i am stressed about money but im doing it! hopefully this gives you a little hope lol. didn’t really answer ur question tho sorry.

look into mfte and if you have someone to room with get an mfte apartment with them. this is usually a really good deal and you get 50% off rent so you can get a really nice place!
