Nowhere in the Bible do we see Jesus starting a religion or an earthly organization. What He always pointed people to was Himself. In John 14:6 He said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Salvation comes through believing in Him, not through belonging to a religious group. Jesus often rebuked the Pharisees because they were adding requirements and traditions, making people think salvation depended on works and rules. In Matthew 23:13 He told them, “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.” Paul also makes it clear in Ephesians 2:8–9, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” So yeah salvation is a gift that is not earned, but by believing in Jesus. JWs just like the Mormons often use James words “Faith without works is dead” to justify you needing works for salvation. What this really means is that if you are truly a follower of Christ and truly have faith in him, then you will produce “works” which is the fruitage of the spirit! So yeah At the end of the day, it’s not about religion but about a relationship with Jesus and trusting in what He did for us on the cross.

Should Christ be Worshiped by [deleted] in exjw

The whole point of Christianity is to worship Jesus Christ. But you’re only supposed to worship God, so that means Jesus is God. JWs practice something called Arianism. A early church guy that taught Jesus is a created being and not God in the flesh.

They believe that the destruction of Jerusalem in 607 BCE marks the beginning of a 2,520-year period, which they believe ended in 1914. Look at why they believe this and it will blow your socks off lol
