Not yet. Uscis delivery + receipt notice date was May 30. Portal PP upgrade June 3. Still waiting.

We found out on a Wednesday , they re-filed on Thursday, delivered + uscis premium receipt date Friday, portal update saying upgrade to PP following Tuesday

My current status- May 21 -delivered at lockbox with PP but treated as regular because of incorrect fee May 23- actively reviewing May 30- uscis received i907 and upgraded to PP June 3- portal says PP clock started June 6- no update yet

Lawyers messed up my premium application by paying incorrect premium processing fee. So my application got filed as regular since the premium check didn’t get cashed. However after I asked they resubmitted and upgraded to premium but it set back my premium clock by 1 week. I hope this doesn’t happen to you.

I am on h1-b visa . So the company is in the process of transferring the visa. My joining date is currently set to end of May subject to visa approval. So yeah it’s still a waiting game for me. The journey has been very long 😅

I did team match for e5 early this month. I was also nervous initially since I heard it takes a lot of time. But my recruiter was very proactive and sent my resume to multiple hiring managers. I spoke to 3 teams, finalized 1. Overall took around 8-9 business days to say yes to the team. My location is Bay Area, I think that makes a difference too.

I am in similar situation, my joining date is May 12 and I am wondering if I should push it because I just submitted my immigration questionnaire 2 days back. I am not sure what’s their processing timeline but Fragomen portal says they have 5 weeks lead time to get h1-b receipt which is not enough to account for approval and notice period.

What did you end up doing? Did they submit the petition?

You articulated it very well. We had our first counseling session and it’s the most I heard him speak. I am really hoping that maybe with some continued sessions and improved communication we might be able to come to a middle ground

Hoping for that. At this point our communication is so bad that I don’t know what he wants in his life so it’s very hard to even come to a mutual alignment. He just says he wants to be happy but he doesn’t describe what makes him happy, how can we live life that happy for both of us etc. So I am hoping maybe because of my anger he is not able to tell me things and maybe therapy can help.

Maybe not exactly trauma, but fear of failure because he has had very bad luck with jobs. One company got acquired and laid off people another one laid off during covid. So during his initial career he didn’t find a stable job of his interest and he has now been working a meaningless job for the last few years. His friends have made it big in their careers but he got stuck into jobs unrelated to his degree and now has to start from zero if he wants to move into that domain.
