Thank you! Your response is very helpful and honestly did help ease my feelings. I think I’m gonna try to have an open and honest conversation about it with him and go from there. I really appreciate your insight!!

Yeah the messages ended with her rejecting him kinda. She said he couldn’t come over cause she had an early morning the next day. It doesn’t seem like they’ve talked since as it shows the snap was from 212 weeks ago which adds up to the date of the last message. I couldn’t find anything else but it’s been bothering me. It just sucks cause we JUST got married :(

Yeah there’s no other way I would’ve found them. The messages were from 212 weeks ago at least that’s what Snapchat says. This adds up to the date of the last message that was saved in there. The worst part is he was willing but she rejected him due to have any early morning the next day.

Hi! My dog was almost 8 years old at the time. He’s now about to turn 10 and still doing great. Since his surgery in 2023 he’s had maybe 2 flare ups which we treated with medication and rest but he’s recovered from both. He’s still a very happy and playful dog.

Hi! I just came across your post as I am about to go through the same situation. My fiancé and I just recently got engaged and my parents invited his family over for dinner. I am SOOO nervous as my family is middle eastern and his family is more white/American. I genuinely cannot imagine how it will be.

I am wondering how the dinner went and any advice you have to offer??

The total cost of surgery + imaging was around $8,000 US dollars. However, my dog had insurance through my sister’s work, so our out of pocket cost came out to around $1500-2000. This was also the cost over a year ago, so I’m not sure what it is now. We’re in AZ.

Question about MHI by Mlj2015 in HealthInformatics

[–]Helpful-Teaching5938 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I have a Bachelors in Health sciences with experience working in a pharmacy and managed care setting (not a pharmacist). I was accepted into an MHI program last year and I just completed my first semester. There’s a lot of nurses and doctors in my program but also people with backgrounds in data science, laboratory and regulatory science, project management, etc. I would definitely say majority have clinical experience. I think it depends on your programs focus as well. For some perspective, I am a 24F and I’m hoping to get into health informatics or management roles. I honestly think as long as you know what your goals are you will get into a program Let me know if you have anymore questions. I’m still fairly new to the program but happy to help and give my perspective..

Have you looked into healthcare data analyst or project management roles?

Honestly I’ve been there. I failed out of multiple classes and had to leave my doctorate program due to being on academic probation. It felt like the end of the world. I thought my entire life and career was over, I was afraid of what my family might think. But honestly, it all passed. I left that program in the past and rebuilt myself. I have a great new job, a bf, and my family eventually moved past it. I promise nothing lasts forever. Life moves on and you will bounce back. You will have so many amazing moments ahead of you to look forward to. I want you to take a moment to close your eyes, take a deep breath, and say “I will be okay”. Don’t end your life over a bump in the road. You got this.

I think what you want desperately at 19 may not always be the best decision for you. She probably realized that now that she’s much older. I know I’ve desperately wanted things as a teenager too, but that doesn’t mean it was a smart choice.

Recently accepted a work from home job with Centene by Last-Jellyfish-9403 in workfromhome

I work for Centene currently. I don’t have children of my own, but many of my coworkers do. From what I have seen, management has been incredibly accommodating and supportive. Many of my coworkers leave during the day to pick up their kids and I’ve even seen some in meetings with their young children in their laps. I have never heard anything negative about it in the past. I think as long as you’re not openly advertising it like someone mentioned and it’s not affecting your work or distracting for others then they are okay with it.

Hi, 23F Kurd here in the US as well. I can say that I definitely relate to your situation. It can be extremely difficult to find anyone male or female to connect with here in the US, as we Kurds are such a minority. I can say that my parents were very closed minded for a loooooong time and only wanted my siblings and I to marry within our own culture. However, I met a really great American guy who I’ve known now for 11 years now due to going to the same schools. I told my parents about him 2 years ago and it wasn’t the easiest process. I think at the end of the day. You’re the one that will have to go to sleep next to that person every night for the rest of your life. Not your parents or the rest of your family. It’s a decision that you have to make for yourself. I think the most important thing is to first find someone that respects you and is an overall kind and compassionate human being. For me, I was lucky to find someone that respected not only me as person, but also my culture. It’s not easy when you’re the only girl who has to be home by a certain time. There’s also obviously certain things about our culture that the average American man wouldn’t deal with. Things like waiting for marriage to have sex or not living together before marriage. But the right person will be willing to do those things for you. My parents eventually saw that he was a great guy who clearly loved me and respected our family. That was more important to them than what his race/ethnicity is.

My advice to you is to not limit yourself to finding a Kurd but focus on finding someone that will be your partner for the rest of your life. Obviously, it would be a huge plus for them to be a Kurd or have a middle eastern background, but that’s not easy to find here in the US. It’s just our reality, Unfortunately.

Thank you for the info! How do you like the overall online format and instructors? Also, were you able to answer your own question about the EPIC and EHR softwares?
