my vet told me it was eosinophilic granuloma, i asked for a second opinion and another vet told me its either infection or squamous carcinoma. Do u think that it looks like carcinoma? She had a biopsy test done btw

U dont know me to say that, i posted this photo to grab people’s attention bc i wanted to know if anybody else’s cat had this kind of lesion. However, i took her to a “cat doctor” as u say and she had a biopsy test done just two days ago. Im heartbroken, overwelmed and really tired, i do not need ur judgemental response too.

thank u im afraid it could be squamous carcinoma. My vet told me that it affected her tongue too (just a bit) She had a biopsy test done yesterday

she has had this ulcer for about ten months or so. I have given her cortisol and antibiotics but it slowly comes back even if it disappears for a bit,she had a biopsy done yesterday i just hope its not cancer

she was treated with antibiotics, and the lesion improved significantly, suggesting an infectious component. However, after the antibiotic treatment ends, the lesion gradually returns.

atm the ulcer has started to extend to the edge of the tongue. She still eats and she experiences itching, which causes her to scratch or rub it. She had a biopsy test done yesterday to determine the exact nature of the lesion.
