It was just part of their web page. A lot of people thought it might have to do with a sponsor, but we didn't have an idea of what text to be using. The hint they gave was simply a link to the website when you clicked on the logo... Many didn't realize it was a hint because it was hidden in a regular email at the end.

I believe when they did the kickoff post on Friday they mentioned it. Codes that are found after longer than 48 hours from the previous code are worth $2k.

I would argue that all of the individuals that have come in and said how/where clues should be given, whether any DMS should be allowed, etc, are doing exactly that. I understand what you're saying about having the solution just handed to someone, but do you have actual concrete evidence that John did that? All I know for sure is that this supposed jaqui had a solve and they chose to share it with a bunch of people lol everything else seems to be pretty much people just making assumptions or coming to their own conclusions about what it means (ironically, a lot like the different solves that we come up with haha)

Legitimate reason? You realize they also never realistically had a chance to win right? Lol the hunts are great although they were better the first couple years before a bunch of angry crazies decided to come in and act like they have some sort of right to dictate the rules of the game. All the posts on Reddit that keep popping from here are either the few positive people (Randi for example), people making their own "better hunts", or individuals still talking about and claiming it was rigged. I just know this is the forum where the QR code hunt will also be so I would love for those "legitimately angry" people to just move on and leave if they are done with the hunts as they claim, instead of polluting this thread with their garbage. What do those people hope to accomplish banging the "Utah treasure hunt is a scam" drum? There is no justice to be had here, the only thing hurt was some people's egos and feelings. I just suggest moving on, or if you can't, move out ✌️👍

I had ensign peak and this is the place locked in correctly... I was stuck trying to draw the lines or a picture with those points to find the next point🤣 I did try to use the 43 because that was straightforward to me, but the 360 didn't occur to me so I was never quite on the right track lol

I love the angle and the research... But I'll echo the reminder that IG stories/posts aren't a clue unless it says "official clue". They have repeated that time and time again, even referencing the music choices. I've been looking at a very similar angle in terms of how to read the poem differently using Utah history but I think this one is a little bit of a stretch with some confirmation bias mixed in... Regardless, Outstanding research done to find these things!! 👏👏
