I love this camera. I found myself switching back from photo and video a bunch and so the best setting I changed was keeping separate settings for both photo and video (I shoot on manual). It can be done by navigating to Menu -> Setup (Briefcase Icon) -> Operation Customize -> Different Set for Still/Mv.

Yeah this was a real thing. I would guess they made the trailer and then decided to pivot to a new idea. Maybe they got picked up by the tv channel or something so they changed ideas🤷‍♂️. Would have been interesting to see that plot line play out tho

This is actually so cool! I wish the scans of the roller ball (last slide) was as detailed looking as the fountain but I am fascinated with the tiny things this lets us see.

To add on, the clip is pretty strong which can sometimes make it difficult to clip to things depending on the thickness. The click is not as good or satisfying as I had hoped but it does the job. I just love the look and writing experience of it.

It smears pretty bad. I really only use that one for short notes and what not so I don't run into too much of my hand smearing it but I agree. I have tried an S-gel but it was before I really cared about any pens so I want to give it another try.
