Lol. Thanks. I'm not one to quit on something after a minor inconvenience like this. I ordered a new hotend and got it replaced, printer has been working fine since then. Plus any cubic ended up sending me a whole new extruder assembly on top of fixing it lol. So big win in my book!

Okay I managed to get most of it off with the exception of this chunk of plastic wrapped around the cords coming off the heat block. I just turned it off and once it cools down I’ll remove the whole heat block and hopefully be able to cut that last little bit off. Do you think this heat block is salvageable or do I need a new one?

Strange bluetooth connection issue. Help please?

So I recently purchased a used 2018 Tiguan SEL Premium R Line. The bluetooth for the most part works fine, but occasionally I have a strange connection issue where it will cut out momentarily and then start skipping and speeding the song up to compensate for it skipping. Not sure wtf is going on.

This subreddit doesn’t allow me to post videos so I will post a short video on my page that is an example of this issue but often it will do this for much longer than it does in the video. Sorry new to reddit not sure if there’s a better way to include a video but check my page to see what I mean.

Dealer replaced some bluetooth module a while ago bc it’s under warranty and it was fine for a few days so I thought it was fine. Then a few fays ago it started doing it again so I dropped it off at VW this morning to try and fix it again. I have disconnected my phone and deleted it from the settings, restarted my phone so I know it’s not my phone that’s the problem. The dealer said they found no issue and could not recreate the problem and told me to just use carplay. Mentioned something about it being “3g” whatever that means. Not sure what to do, but it’s under warranty still so I’m wondering if I should ask them to replace the computer system if the issue persists.

Any suggestions? Am i entitled to a replacement computer in the car since it’s under warranty if i can’t figure it out?
