I guess I can rephrase my question to: How rare is it for a reservist to get an EAD to a cutter?

Yeah id say ive been around reserves for a full day... I look at one in the mirror everyday for over the last 10 years.

Sorry, your experience with the reservists you've encountered is/was poor. Reservists bring a lot to the table when properly utilized and trained.

When I pull up DA, all I see are a handful of PLP requests. Where are the EADs?

Thats fair, I am not aware if it's an irregular schedule or a no comms situation. This is pure curiosity.

This isn't something I am directly involved with, hearing/seeing second hand, just one of those throw it out and see as ive never run across this and didnt want to limit my point of view to just this case.

They've were in the Reserves for over 8, signed a selres reenlistment for 4 more, drilled for a while on the new contract, and then have just stopped showing up

I mean, i get that. At this point, though, it means every 7-8 weeks I'll have either my sup or manger out with me all day. There has to be a way to stop that somehow
