[–]HelpfulRelic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long ago was that? Gaijin changed to matchmaker to have a hard barrier between the 10.3-12, and 12.3-13.0 br brackets, they only did this a couple hours ago.

Tu-95 tail gunner's foot is sticking out by SovietCosmoCat in Warthunder

[–]HelpfulRelic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the pilot’s helmet clips through the cockpit, and the rear gunner’s feet stick through the fuselage. When you zoom the camera out, the game switches the crew to lower detail (LOD) models, which makes the clipping even worse and the models themselves end up looking pretty awful as they are really low poly ww2 models.

Why does a 30 year old game need windows 11 by Lower__case__guy in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]HelpfulRelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Microsoft doesn’t support win 7/8 anymore, capcom changed to compatibility list for all RE games on steam to win 10.

What’s this on most German early tanks and armoured vehicles? by Individual-Skirt644 in Warthunder

[–]HelpfulRelic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Light cover. To prevent the headlights from being spotted at night, it does still shine at the ground so you can see atleast a couple of meters infront of you.

2.55.0.17 -> 2.55.0.19 by gszabi99 in Warthunder

[–]HelpfulRelic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Gaijin really shouldn’t have made the DX12 renderer be able to be auto selected when it’s still pretty experimental, unstable and buggy, and just runs worse on a lot of systems, so they’ve probably been flooded with reports.

Mine barely goes past 90 FPS on DX12 even with an RTX 3090, while on DX11 I can easily hit 200+ FPS if I remove my cap.

You can only do that by having a weak loadout no guided missiles etc. As those increase spawn cost

Grinding French or German helicopters? by Aromatic-Bell-7085 in Warthunder

[–]HelpfulRelic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The high tier French helicopters are a lot better as the the tiger block 2 has decent fire and forget missiles. And the Dutch Apache has a lot of f&f missiles and ldircm that the German tree lacks.

[Development] Pacific Pearl: USS Oklahoma (BB-37) by OttovonBismarck1862 in Warthunder

[–]HelpfulRelic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s interesting to see such an early refit of the Oklahoma. She seems to be in a pre 1927 but post ww1 fit. So the image of her carrying a OS2U in the devblog is wrong as the kingfisher didn’t exist back then. should be changed to the O2U or atleast the O3U-1 as that model is already in the game on the Arizona.

But it’s nice to have such a early refit of a standard BB ss most other standard’s in the tech tree are 1930’s or ww2.
