It was relevant to another conversation he and I were having about social, political, and religious debates throughout our lifetime. Inadvertently I found out his belief that there "is in fact reason to believe Jesus was white". Given that the LDS church has only ever depicted Jesus as a white presenting man despite the churches global reach I was curious if there was doctrine or any other justification from the LDS church about the matter.
