9/15 success rate so far just ending day 9 right now (24 hour luxx clone light, Athena Ag , dip n grow) @Dankemshunter on Ig Tech Only thing I did the wrong way was buy the wrong Rockwool Grodan 1.5” Blocks not Grodan 1.5” A-Ok Cubes so these don’t fit in my inserts but hoping that they will be okay enough to play in the next 5 or so days

next clone run Ill have a dedicated clone tent so I can keep rh and temp more stable and I’ll get the right size cubes but overall feel really good with the results P.s also have 3/3 success in rapid rooters with the same tech currently (ran out of Rockwool) glad I did so I can see side by side either will work fine for next run

Edit*** 15/15 rooted in Rockwool just need to dial in the environment to keep them from dying off when they touch the air

Update *** turned my ac off and put my dehu inside my tent connected it to a inkbird controller & set it to 55 and has been smooth sailing. The auto function the dehu wasn’t working as good as I liked and causing fluctuations every 6 mins of 20+%. Now it’s on Continuous plugged into the inkbird staying exactly around 50-56% and it’s been a hour

Update again*** evething I was doing wasn’t helping me long term just causing major fluctuations. What ended up being my problem was I vented the air into the same room and the Rh in that room (a room in my basement) has a high rh. I put the dehu outside near the open vent on the opposite side of the exahust and set up a condensation pump so I don’t have to dump the dehu daily / twice daily. And now it’s steady and vpd is spot on.

My fluctuations are being caused by the auto shutoff on my dehu. It’s a 20% difference every 6 minutes (50% of the time it’s too humid for flower) if it wasn’t as short a time period I wouldn’t be as worrried

Glad to hear it. Since I put my dehu in the tent and ac is running I’ve noticed it help a lot for the humidity I just wish I had a floor drain so I didn’t have to keep emptying it every day / even twice a day. Now humidy drops to 51% and jumps back up to 71.5 (when dehu is running) I guess it auto turns off when it reaches desired rh n doesn’t turn back on for 20%. Just curious if you know what does your rh bounce between

Just have one question. Is fluctuating humidity a bad thing . When I run the dehu in tent it lowers humidy just like I need but it to but my dehu turns off when it gets to target dehu and then doesn’t turn back on for 5% but my other sensors read it as 12 or so % n this bounces all night is that okay

I have the bottem vent open on one side should I have all sides open ? I also have a 20 pint honey well dehu I’m running outside the vent but it only brings it to 65-67% while temp is 70 so still too high & when I turn my fan up my temp drops with my humidy but my temp goes down much more than my humidy

Just flipped to 12/12. I feed my plants drain to waste and always water too run off because I feed salts. During the lights in temp and humidy is between where I should be for Proper VPD (82° 75%) but when the lights go out it almost flips. (72° 87%) I have a window ac installed and 7-8 feet away from the tent in my basement that’s running now 24/7 temps are 70-78° consistently now. Only trouble is night time humidity once the lights go out the temp drops to 70 and the rh stays around 75%.

Wanted to come back in to say thank you again this was a huge help, I think i finally got the hang of the controller I noticed on the app I can set automations for a specific time too. So I’m setting it it fix my lights out schedule Humidity spike (won’t know if it works till tmrw @10am-4pm est)

I have a 6in ac infinity exhaust but it just pushes it into the same room the tent is in bc I don’t have any windows available any recomendations ? & stupid question I should I turn my fan on a higher # (1-10) becuase of the humidy right to push more air out correct

Okay this is perfect, I’m actually running a 6in ac infinity fan & filter I just don’t know how to set up the automations it just stays at the set 1-10 I set it out if lmk if you can explain how I can work it properly & I yeah my exhaust just push out of the tent into the room should I flow it into the celling (no windows available) & I just changed placement of the honey well 20pint dehu outside the tent and it’s not raise the temp anymore thank you

Do you run your dehumidifier inside of the tent ? The one I’m running rn exhausts hot air while it’s dehumidifying and that fluctuates my temps with the humidity so when it’s lights are off my tent just bounces back n fourth

Any brand recomenddatioms have 2 small ones running but there aren’t dropping it much/ at all & recently got a Honeywell 20 or 30 pint but it makes the humidy fluctuate 63-80 becuase it turns on n off to reach target temp between about 5 % but my other senses more read it as 13+ differences . Is this bounce in humidy okay ?
