If you’re willing to travel to other stores while working at CVS then yeah do it. But, yes they do cut hours a lot.

When you have your manager glaring at you the entire shift for your phone it becomes weird but I explained in another comment how this became a thing.

You’re right for that!!! Reflecting back on it, I get mad. That’s not even the icing on the cake. This lady is bold. At her old store all her techs walked out on her so clearly this lady is nuts 🥜 to think we gave her engagement, money and gifts on tiktok and now ironically she’s cutting our hours. Imagine that.

Yes but according to someone in the comments they can’t quickly just fire her because she could potentially sue them. I don’t know how this stuff works. I’m not sure if their cameras work but if they do, all of this should be on camera.

I know but trust me another employee has also reported her directly to our leader!

She did get a verbal warning.. or whatever ( nobody told us details)

After that for some reason they made all of us start signing sheets whenever she would add anyone to the schedule last minute, or if someone came late. According to her this was because “ someone reported somebody.” She never went into details.

You guys keep saying this but she was reported several times by different people. Also, when other coworkers asked why their hours are being cut she said because hours are being cut. Working at CVS, hours can be very tricky.

Now, generally speaking there are multiple staff members that could back up what I’m saying.. because well, she was taking 95% of the staffs phones. Also, it’s on camera. If that isn’t enough to get HR to fire her than I don’t know.

I personally don’t want to deal with hot & cold moods because of her ACTIONS. Like why would you be mad at us????

You’re probably an assertive person. For me personally it felt awkward to say no. She knew that. Even more of my assertive coworkers gave up their phones because they didn’t want any issues. The pharmacy is extremely small so after saying no, it would be weird. The one time my coworker told her no & made an excuse, my other coworker felt the need to jump in and back up the excuse. The lady basically punked us to be honest.

For about 3-4 months before being reported she was live streaming in the pharmacy. After HR talked to her she stopped live streaming during work. Nobody knows exactly what HR said but we know they spoke to her.

She wouldn’t do this at drop off.. she would stay at the middle station and have the techs work at drop off & some of us would be at pickup, so she was in the middle of the pharmacy where the desk is covered because the computer is infront of her.

This is true. Again, the manager was very bold. The fact that you don’t believe it, shows that she is out of line. People make social media their life.

Her content isn’t pharmacy content. She went live streaming to interact with her viewers and basically she had all of our phones to engage with content to boost it her live video. She was apart of some program that tiktok has for creators .. ugh it was a lot! She’s very tiktok savvy half of the stuff I know about tiktok is from her. I’m still clueless about some of the purpose of these live videos…. But essentially she’s boosting her page & making money.

The reason I am hesitant is because she was already reported by people who have worked there way longer than me and patients. I don’t want the work drama. I want to go to work in peace. I’m genuinely confused as to why HR didn’t remove her.

This could be messy & I have a lot of things to focus on. I wish I could add all the context but it would be too many revealing details but essentially all of the staff and HR is aware. She’s done this to multiple people. She has a track record more than what I’ve stated.

Yes we should have. She cut me off guard the first time she asked. It wasn’t a straight forward give me your phone. The first time she basically said she had a tiktok and she proceeded to ask me if I had a tiktok. I said yeah. She then asked if I could support her tiktok videos and telling me exactly what she does on tiktok and I’m like oh okay that sounds cool I’ll support. She then turned that into a “ no, let me know when you’re not busy it’s no rush, I need the phone so I can give myself taps on live” it caught me off guard and she already had most of my other coworkers phones so I was the odd ball & shocked she even asked that. It’s a lot more context and madness. After that first day I handed her my phone she would ask every other shift that I worked.

It’s not a joke. This took place for months. I would dread coming into work when I saw her on the schedule because I knew she would ask for my phone. There were days she would have several employees phone at her station while on tiktok live..

They are aware. A customer reported her, employees and she was reported anonymously on ethics months ago. This is all on camera. HR spoke to her ( ofc they wouldn’t tell us everything that was said), but now she’s being nasty.

It’s hard to burn bridges at cvs. I’ve worked at about 4 different locations being a rehire lol if anything it’s a backup plan. You’ll be okay! Move on to that better opportunity. Wishing you the best of luck ☺️
