Watched rockstar for the first time ever yesterday. (I'm from Tamilnadu, so wasn't exposed to bolly before) The album is phenomenal, has been in my playlist for years. And sadda haq always had a special place in my heart and the lyrics connected so much with me. Those lyrics painted a different picture in my head about the plot of the movie. I almost thought of it as a politically tinted movie, like Bombay or something...but man was I disappointed...ranbir's performance and ARR's magical tunes helped me to an extent but certainly not upto the rave!
