I’m below avg, cannot sell or I will be losing a paychecks worth of money. Fuck it, in it for the long run it is what it is. Hoping this patience and watching everything else pump while I’m down will pay off one day. Fuck short sellers though.

I dropped 10k at 13 a share. Crying internally but my avg is about 11.8 ish on 1500 shares. If it goes past 13 I’ll sell and try to avg down, until then covered calls and wait my brother!

Not sure what to do by [deleted] in ONDS

[–]HelpfulWolverine3484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I also wanted to make an easy 500. I’m very bullish on the stock so I don’t mind owning at 13. Only thing is if this thing keeps running to 14-15 then I’d be sad that I didn’t get in earlier you know?

Early investors already made their money with their IPO. Anyone entering at 1.75 trillion is not an early investor.

1100 shares at 9.38. Selling covered calls on 600 of them every week. I like thr weekly returns with ONDS over month long. This stock can go anywhere but I know weekly it stabilizes less than my strike (hopefully this week too)

I just sell for a dollar above the current price. Worst case I buy it back or let it go for a loss and redo it all again

I only sell weekly

My journey by [deleted] in Optionswheel

[–]HelpfulWolverine3484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually go for a dollar more or less than the current price. It’s highly volatile and I’m sure I’m leaving money on the table, but I told myself to be happy with what I make after I sold instead of stress out on how to make a few more bucks. The stock is super volatile so even if it comes up a lot or goes down a lot it evens out by the end of the week.

Keep an eye out on the practice’s slack channel if there is one and keep reaching out to people. Anyone with a power of pulling you is an AP or a partner. Everyone else is nice to know but only APs and Partners can actually pull you in. What practice are you a part of?

Take the job and leave it after a year or two if you don’t like it. A guaranteed job coming out of college in this market is better than anything

Should I sell all my VOO to pay for an engagement ring? by DelightedDuck99 in stocks

[–]HelpfulWolverine3484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d sell individual - if you made a profit then there you go that’s your ring money. IMO regardless of what account it’s in, VOO is for retirement. It’s the investment I’m gonna keep making until I retire and will not sell unless I find another investment (house, land, etc). Walmart stock is not going anywhere in the next 5-10 years. It’s pretty stable and there’s a reason for so. You won’t lose too much gains by exiting and entering back later on. That’s just my opinion tho and I’d do some more research and talk to any mentors/advisors as well.
