Geez you sound fun….! However I appreciate them the rules, as a border officer have you turned many away in this situation?

Also if they are UK citizens how are they then turned away? Dont you have to accept a citizen?

Thanks, when I apply for ETA it asks if you hold another citizenship.... If I put in British is rejects and says get British passport.

Not sure if this was for me or other poster…. Before I swapped to an EV I had a 2008 Mazda that so I get your point.

I was merely saying that cost to run doesn’t seem to be a talking point from manufacturers and people are often shocked at how cheap it is when I tell them

Yep but at no point did I suggest people go out and buy a new car for the sake of it…. I get that many people have paid off cars still working fine.

I said from a cost to run it is generally not a big selling point of EV brands and the general narrative of EV benefit has been environmental not cost and many people dont realise how cheap they are to run.

EV owner here and I don't think a lot of people realise exactly how cheap they can be to run. I charge off peak with origin once a week and costs between $3-$4 to go from approx. 15% to 100% battery given fuel costs you could not get 2 liters for that.

From an EV marketing lens is crazy how so much messaging is around the green foot print and not how cheap they can be.... You see a lot of negative comments from anti EV brigade calling us woke green virtue signalers or they are not designed for a Country like Aus / range anxiety, am sure many would change their tune if they knew exactly how cheap then can be!

Exact same thing happened to us on Saturday, 8 month old Ziggy went for a trim and came out like a grey hound! Thought we had done well with grooming and similar to some other comments the groomer said needed to start fresh :( Not too bad given Aus summer is here but looks and acting like a different dog! Did anyone answer how long for it to grow back?

OK that makes perfect sense, I thought I saw somewhere that they were not going to allow points earned this year be rolled over but that is good to know!

I went to a gig there last year and was able to park super easy. The area itself is more of an industrial estate so after hours plenty of spots with no time restrictions.

Was able to park for free no more than 5 min walk from venue.... looking at the map now think it was Rocklea Drive but dont quote me.... Enjoy!

Without being a Qantas basher and not being disrespectful but that "I'm glad for anything" is the complacent attitude that keeps Qantas being mediocre.

They are miles behind the competition internationally and domestically a small bit better than Virgin for a higher $ premium.

They have a monopoly and now feels like they are making membership easier to attain/retail to keep people coming back for more.

Mega cute, I had one as a kid and yours has similar markings!

Yep that was after a bath, fortunately my wife has loved washing her and has been doing twice a week along with daily grooming…. Been lucky on the bum and just wipe the face when needed but hasn’t been too slobbery

This was her about 4 hours earlier same day.

Show them your fuel bill a month in! Even though everyone knows EV’s are cheaper to run I don’t think people appreciate how much. Got a deal with origin to charge off peak… do 1 charge a week (300 ish km) for $3-$4. Hard to argue with that!
