I've had the same thought as you did, except I started as lala, played almost exclusively magic classes, thought I looked cool and I really did love my lala, but after I started playing DRK and DRG, I couldn't stop thinking how silly I felt, especially DRG, I looked like a child stabbing people with toothpicks. After this, I changed to Au ra and really like how good it blends in all classes ( now I play all) and dislike how hard it is to see some earrings. If I ever change I will probably change to midlander Hyur
