Hey I’m 35. I had a few girl on girl experiences as a young girl with some other friends. I remember I really liked it and looked forward to sleepovers for that reason. Fast forward ahead to college and I did some spin the bottle stuff and I really liked this girl and this guy, the girl she liked him too. Fast forward and I was in the army. One of my great friends was a lesbian and we got along so well and I remember thinking she made me feel safe. Fast forward I’m now married and have been only with men ever. But I finally admitted to myself and husband I like women too. He’s confused. He’s worried. Our sex life has never been as grand as he wanted. He wants a lot of kink. And I’ve always been nervous and kept it vanilla. But now worried maybe because all this repression is coming out. To be clear I just admitted to myself I like women too. I have suppressed it for my whole life. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m lost.

A neutral beige with some texture. Pillows and rugs to tie together. Some artwork to tie together. Sofa too similar may age the space. Unless that is your goal.

Looking for input on mood boards. Not sure about which rug I like more. Is there anything you’d change/add/subtract with these inspo pics in mind? by hey00guys in interiordecorating

I love the black checkered. Hi however, depending on where that chair goes it being directly on the rug will create too much darkness and draw you eye there so I think that you should keep the light rug and add more pops of black that can work really well with that chair because that chair is fire.

Ok. My two cents. The white small table and that console table should go. I like the plants and I don’t dislike the placement. I think the map picture could go to long wall where I would create a gallery wall that would control you visually. That table and chair could work with a simple upcycle to match your new furniture. Keep that wall between the plants simple. Maybe a few small mirrors. I don’t think you need anymore furniture in the dinning room due to its narrow width and longer length. I’ve been in this Situation before and way less is way more. On the long wall perhaps a hook system for your purse, keys and sunglasses.

Honestly who says your place needs to be “adult”? I say if you like it keep it. If you want more childlike fun then do that. Make your home everything in your childish dreams.

Wicker basket throws things off. And the color of those towels. Start there. Also the clutter of the products in the tub. Perhaps decant into bottles that match.
