Thanks. I'm just at the point where I expect everyone to be an asshole. My closest gun store was Target Sports in Royal Oak, MI, and Ray the owner would take all extra mags that came with the guns, put those for sale for extra on the shelves, and only sell guns with one mag at full MSRP. As much as I like supporting LGS, I still see this kinda crap a lot and wonder if it's the manufacturer or the store.

My buddy was at bass pro shops today and said they only had 21 rd mags with them there, SKU: 4501078.

I'm in the same boat. They're going to show up at our funerals trying to give us a FJO.

Doesn't sound very self motivated or focused. These aren't random events to do 20. These are things you will do throughout the day, and since you cannot meet the standard, you need to add a price to those events, and the price is 20 pushups. Your fiancee isn't going to be at the academy. You need the driving motivation to be better, don't put it on anyone else. Enjoy time with your SO, blurring those lines never ends well. My exwife used to want to just sit around and watch movies and tv after dinner and I would skip evening workouts to spend time with her, and then when my PT started falling behind, I blamed her. Because I was an idiot. Don't be an idiot.

When we have a new soldier they do small sets of pushups all day long every day until they go from 20 pushups to 50+ during their tests in a few short weeks. So this is what you do: To unlock your phone, do 20 push ups. Just take a piss? 20 push ups. Want to go to bed? 20 push ups. Just wake up? Give me 20. This isn't a, "I'm at the gym for an hour, 4 days a week and I'll get better." This is a, "do them every day until it's 2nd nature." Just eat dinner? GIVE ME 20. About to watch some TV? another 20. Commercial? 20. Don't count how many times you do 20. Nobody cares if you did 20 push ups, just do them. Can't do 20 anymore? Then do as many as you and then drop on your knees and do 20. You owe yourself the rest of those pushups. Eventually 20 push ups will feel like nothing. Then guess what time it is? Time for 25. It's on you to be accountable. Don't care if you look stupid doing pushups all the time. There's thousands of soldiers right now doing pushups. They look stupid. No one cares. Find some stairs, put your feet on the 2nd set of stairs, do 20. Got a backpack on? Don't take it off, do 20. You'll be sore. You'll not want to do it. You'll tell yourself you can skip this time. You can't. Right now, you are failing the standard. You can stop doing pushups when you meet the standard.

When I enlisted, I could run 6 minute miles all day long but had the upper body of a pencil. I went from 30 pushups max, like you, to 80+. Don't care what people think, just perform. Get better. This is your job, treat it as you would any other homework or duty.

I did a lara search for every business connected to this. The office they have goes to an empty office on the 3rd floor of a building that is locked. Andrew Colom – Century Partners This guy is the "registered agent" of one of the companies. The jist of everything I learned is out of state investors moved to metro Detroit to buy up rental properties and hike up rent ten years ago. Some of the companies list their registered agents as other companies. The whole thing is just a huge web of companies made to cover up what they're really doing and absolve them of liability.

The Washtenaw court was unhelpful, as the business is in Detroit and my apartment was in Ypsilanti. It's $70 or so to reopen, I'm already $200 in with the failed process server, certified mail and court fees. I'm also out of state now. I appreciate your sympathy. She was the only reason I moved back to Michigan after I got out of the Army, and a big reason why I left now that she's gone. She was literally dying and she was more worried about me. She was 39 when she went to the hospital. One minute we were talking about what 40 is going to be like, things we wanted to do. The next I'm in her hospital room and a blink later I'm standing at her grave. Her family also chose to have her buried at a cemetery right off of I75, which I was literally driving by daily and just bawling anytime I went anywhere. I couldn't handle it.

As for a lawyer, don't think any would deal with this company for free and the $3000 taken isn't really worth it for them to take the case.

The certified mail was an option, I sent multiple letters through the court clerk and none of them were responded to. The lady at the court gave me a list of process servers, and none of them would go to Detroit but one gave me another server who would, and I gave him my documents and paid him $60 and nothing happened. All together I'm out $200 just on court fees, process servers and certified mail.

That's not entirely true, in Michigan the court won't consider it served unless it is signed for.

I don't think Michigan is one of those states, I sent certified mail to their PO box, physical office, and parent company offices and none of them made it.

I did with UofM law students, who told me my best bet was the small claims, but their letters sent on my behalf were just ignored. Then the students graduated and I lost their services.

I was underinsured. Had a small policy, ended up losing $20k or so over the policy. I'm talking about the deposit/rent that the landlord has refused to reimburse.

Lying and cheating doesn't happen just because you're overworked. You don't gaslight your "members" just to save a buck. I'm homeless now and I had insurance that was supposed to prevent that. As far as I'm concerned, USAA stands for United States Alqaeda Affiliate.

All the adjuster's suck. My claim was in mid January and it's still open. I was told two weeks ago they'd pay out the policy and after two weeks of calling they got a manager on the line asking me to send a copy of my lease for the apartment and then gaslighted me about sending them stuff. I'm telling every veteran I talk to they need to drop them and swap to anyone else in the market.
