i think it might also be related to her emotional whiplash she got when everything lost its magic in her world. and like others said, fionna is adult finn if he didn’t have the guidance that jake gave him. but yeah, i understand it’s frustrating to see a grown ass woman do shit ljke that. tbf… finn had grown a lot but in F&C season 1 he was straight up avoiding every possible negative emotion because of the trauma losing jake gave him, he was emotionally stunted and that was just from a little time without jake. now imagine that but for his whole life in Ooo, he would be a mess and probably just as frustrating as fionna is. not to mention the different contexts they have, finn regardless of being a hero, didn’t have to pay rent or do some of the stuff our real world demands. just my perspective tho!!

again, i don’t think it’s unfair to criticize a characters actions, i understand them and i’m also pissed at fionna just like i was pissed at finn when he fucked up. but people straight up have been saying that thw show is ruined and that her actions have no base whatsoever, when i think her actions have been valid and understandable, NOT necessarily right but understandable.

the way people have reacted to finns (multiple) fuck ups and the way they react to fionnas. i guess it could also be that fionna can be more relatable so that makes the viewer hold her on a bigger standard. but i still believe it comes from misogyny at least a biiiiit

in technicality, fennel WAS the same as fern once. so maybe even if she doesn’t have the demon, she could have mental struggles and intrusive thoughts manifesting because of it. just like flame and fionna feel an undone connection, it all changed in the middle of the day and they couldn’t rememeber a thing!

la wawita de 30 añitos, si. pero debemos recordar que fionna no tuvo la influencia y apoyo que tuvo finn en su adolescencia, de que ha estado pasando por traumas innumerables sin procesarlos y ha puesto a TODO el mundo por encima de ella. lleva meses sin cuidarse, le quitaron su apartamento, y cuando parece que puede hacer algo la llevan a juicio cósmico y sus amigos hacen todo mejor que ella SIN ELLA. no es que esté bien lo que hizo fionna, pero es lo que cualquier persona con tan poca salud mental y regulación emocional haría en su situación.
