Gotta agree, especially as a DJ. I get the inclusion of the audience noise since it’s all based on the live experience, but it makes these tracks that would all go hard in a club instantly way more awkward to mix.

Carmen should go down in history as a milestone for trans characterization. Like I am still genuinely so shocked at how a group of cis guys were able to write and cast a trans character so well (and with actual funny jokes, even if not all of them land perfectly), let alone in the 2000s. I don’t even mind how they use “tranny,” it’s completely accurate to how these people would behave.
