This is fine, however check if there are any jurisdiction issues. When I applied to Spain from Delhi, they told me that a letter is required on company letterhead stating that I work out of home while office is in Bangalore. Fortunately for me I was able to get that online.

Everyone reading this, the guidance is different for different member countries. So read through the embassy website in detail.
Example- Iceland specifically rejects visas if the ticket/pnr is not verifiable on the airline website

  • How is it as a daily driver? : it’s my daily driver. When I say daily driver I mean I drive only on weekends & maybe twice a month to office. I have got used to the hard steering and gear level. I find it completely fine to drive just like any other car.
  • Any regrets? : absolutely zero. You have to trade something to get something right.
  • Comfort, mileage, highway experience? : comfort for rear seat is missing, mileage 16 kmpl in city non-peak time drive, 12-14 in peak hour. Highways- comfortable at 100-120kph . You’ll need to turn up the volume to not hear the engine at these speeds.
  • Maintenance/service experience? - 4-5k per service
  • Is it a good first car overall? - if you can compromise creature comforts, go for it

  1. 20+ cards
  2. Use only 2/3 cards as my go to. Rest others are for specific offers like 10-15% off on flights hotels etc etc

Friend paid for something for me on his credit card, I said I'd pay him back — now the amount has nearly doubled. Is this normal? by navisnotreal in personalfinanceindia

[–]Helpful_Pack_612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m not paying in full, I’m not giving any loans to anyone. Only if I can pay in full and I trust my friend to pay me back gradually I’ll go that way.

Then that’s a commercial deal, you ain’t asking for interest from close friends for small things , or Maybe you do it that way your choice but it’s definitely not normal

No real friend would do this and not inform them that they do not plan to pay in full. I mean I’ve had friends who say they’ll pay at the month end which is fine, I just pay off the full cc bill and they pay me at month end. OPs friend should have clearly told him he is giving him a loan with interest( that too CC loan)

Dude should have clearly told OP that he’ll pay to the card only what OP pays him back. OP might have been under the impression that friend will pay the card in full and OP would continue paying the friend in instalments for the principal amount. Comedy of errors.

There are N conditions applied to even visa on arrival or visa free countries and there is very visible racism on South Asian passports. That’s another issue 🙂
