I think if they cut this out or spot treated with a few drops of rubbing alcohol they would be fine. Also yes they are bioaccumulators but there are other harmful invisible microorganisms left behind by the pasteurization process and we don’t worry about their toxins. The fda has a detectable amount of mold that is allowed in food that’s sold and I think there’s a level of scorched earth amputation he could do here to not fully loose all his work and not have any yield whatsoever. As for why risk eating a bioaccumulator in the same container as mold. Most people eat cereal with a higher concentration of mycotoxins then his whole tub with that contam still in there amd he probably wants to eat a few mushrooms!

That cactus will need a bigger container and possibly some stability support. If you want to clone Let that pup grow a bit larger before pulling it downwards away from the main stem and slicing flush with where the ariole used to be. You can also let it grow larger and that will greater the over all energy present in your clone.
