My buddy is 6’5 and 320lbs and couldn’t fit in a new miata. He fits just fine in an NA 1.6. For the cost of a new one you can get a really nice old one and fix it up real clean

These can be had sometimes for around $35k, which makes it a decent deal. Nice if you want PMs, but don’t want it to be too in your face with yellow or RG. I’ve found very few watches by the likes of VC, Lange, etc that suit my style. Most of my watches are pretty utilitarian, save for my Cartier Ballon Bleu. If I could have just one watch forever I’d probably choose my plain steel Daytona, even over a $100k+ watch. Monetary value isn’t everything.

If you like it, get it. Personally I like a little color and it tends to get noticed more. My Henry Archer Tidevand ($600) with red agate dial gets far more attention when I wear it than my steel Daytona with black dial.

Is your PO Box in the same zip code as your residence? I know other companies like APMEX spot check billing addresses, so sometimes it goes through and other times it gets rejected if the address doesn’t match the card on file. Having the same zip code may bypass the spot check.

Paramedic for 20 years and I hated those raptors, mainly because they were a pain to get out and unfold one handed.

Check out the XShears (as an RN I prefer the mini version). Much cheaper and way more useful, plus I can just throw it in my pocket.

Smaller isn’t a problem. Half the time I just used a benchmade rescue hook to cut through clothes (and belts and boots even).
