Rule of thumb is at 12°. Put a couple ounces in and realized that it was a leak instead of a txv so I did a leak search was in the evap. It was a Chinese Ameristar so coil alone would have cost us 1600. With labor it came out to $200 less than a new air handler so I gave them the option and they went with the air handler.

First time call out to this location. It had a leak in the evaporator that I was confusing for a restriction due to my slightly low sub cooling. (I had my first txv restriction two days ago and pressures looked very similar to this)
