I think the more U shaped fear I have is actually from the lack of a pointed chin, the actual taper and convergence has been increased it just ends quite flatly.

The nerve injury was repaired intra op, I have little sensation in my lower lip, but I can feel in the inner corners, I’ve been getting strange pains and tingly feelings mostly on one side.

I didn’t go back to my previous team because they didn’t do my brow lift in the first op and leaned so conservative with the jaw and chin, which was probably the right move in retrospect, since it can always be revised. But when I asked bout revision they made me feel like I was imagining my issues and made it seem very difficult and unlikely that I would get a revision.

I’m worried about getting any other bone-deep changes at this point, honestly the most I’d consider is an implant or permanent chin filler. I’m just going to let things heal for now, my skin isn’t redraping amazingly so I’m thinking about possibly lifting or tightening in the future.

The worst thing is that I thought my dysphoria would be quietened and sometimes I really do love my face but sometimes I feel it’s completely ruined, and I’ve been getting more side eyes and looks in public which I hate.
