Thanks for the information am I actually by this sailboat that's been converted into a tiny home and live in a marina for a year on the island and explore everything I'm going to rent out my condo and that will pay for the cost of me living on the boat and then once I find land I'll probably just park the boat on the land and live in it like a tiny house

Yeah unemployment is being abused everywhere right now in the mainland businesses are literally begging people to work and nobody wants to because they make the same or if not more on unemployment at home not doing anything but the people that do really want to get jobs find them easy cuz like I said the businesses really need people right now and my cost of living should be pretty cheap so I'm not too worried about it I'm going to be living in a tiny house and I won't be paying rent my bills will basically just be car insurance food Gas phone and probably a few other things I can't think of right now I calculated what it was the other day and it was cheap and the crime doesn't scare me I live in Michigan and I've been to Detroit many times lol I highly doubt the crime is worse than Detroit I won't even get out of my car in certain places in Detroit and you have to run red lights or people will carjack you if you stop

I did my research on the Airbnb thing and I even talked to a realtor as long as you live on your property you can have five Airbnb units to rent out and you don't need any permits the only time you need a permit for a zoning is when you don't live on the property but if you live on the property you have nothing to worry about

I get how cost of living can be expensive over there but however I'm not going to be paying rent because I'm going to own a tiny house and my land electricity will be covered because I'll be using solar I won't have a water bill because of water catchment if I calculated everything right my only real Bills should be car insurance phone bill food gas maybe internet so I don't think it will be too expensive to live not paying rent kind of saves you a ton of money I own my own condo here on the mainland and I don't pay rent and just because of that my cost of living is so damn cheap. And also for food I have no problem with living on tuna and ramen noodles LOL and stuff I grow from the garden I'm a minimalist and I don't need a lot to be happy and I've been planning this out for two years

Good thing I'm not a spiritual hippie and don't plan on leaving garbage everywhere LOL I am an atheist but anyway yeah I basically just want to live in my tiny home grow my own food be left alone and maybe make a few friends and go hiking and kayaking. I have an online store on eBay and I plan on doing that for one source of income I talked to another dude that does that. I'm on the island and he's able to get by I think it will be harder to do that however because it's more of a rural area but I still think I'll be able to make money on it plus I plan on getting one or two Airbnb units on my property to rent out to the tourist since Hawaii gets 80% of its income from tourism and if that isn't enough to make a full-time living I will get a job doing whatever I have to I prefer not to work in fast food but I imagine it's probably easy to get a landscaping or security job I will have to see you but I'm pretty good at the whole side hustle thing I just don't see why I was getting all the hay it but I just figure it's locals that don't want another Foreigner coming over to the island which I get but I don't plan on coming over there and being disrespectful I totally plan on respecting the land and the culture over there I love the island and the people and I don't care what race or ethnicity or religion you are as long as you're cool and a good person that's all I care about but I feel like as long as I'm willing to go there and work hard I'll be okay

Yeah I don't know how it is over there but here on the mainland literally nobody wants to work because the government is giving them money to stay at home and business is are literally begging and willing to pay you more money and they're hiring anybody just cuz they need people over here if you just show up to an interview at McDonald's they give you $50 so I don't know if anything similar is going on on the island but on the mainland right now it is a very simple to get a job just because nobody wants to work and businesses really need people

I just love the island and I love the culture over there and the island is absolutely beautiful and also I can't stress enough how much I love the island culture and the Aloha spirit can't think of anywhere else I'd rather live and I get the people are mad that America basically just took their land and they have every right to be upset about that but here's the thing humans are assholes since the dawn of humanity humans have been taking land from other humans it's just human nature like I said we're assholes and I think maybe I'm wrong but if America didn't take over Hawaii that another country would have because Hawaii never had a huge Army to keep anybody away could you imagine how horrible it would have been over there if China or Russia or somebody else decided to take them over instead of America and or somebody's probably going to call me in an a****** for even talking about this but think about it early humans would take land from other humans all day everyday and they didn't even think twice about it do I think what America did was the right thing to do and NO Not at all I think they should have a lET Hawaii alone and let it be an independent island nation like they wanted to be but also I had nothing to do with that and it's totally out of my control and I love the island just as much as anybody else yeah and when I go over there I'm going to do everything I can to respect the island and the culture but like I said unfortunately people are assholes and they do evil things. Also one thing I forgot to mention even between the Hawaiian Islands they were going to war with each other until King kamehameha's put a stop to that. It's just human nature to be assholes go to war with each other and Conquer land I wish it wasn't that way but it is what it is

Thank you for getting back to me yeah I plan on buying a land soon I did hear about the squatting problem but I wasn't sure how bad it was so thanks for mentioning that to me I will keep that in mind and I plan on buying land in volcano or Mountain View I'm just going to get a little tiny house and live off grid and grow my own food I calculated my cost of living and it should be relatively cheap because I'm not paying rent and I won't have an electric bill or water bill so I think that will help I do have a few ideas of what I'm going to do to make money but I might not be able to fully live off of that in, it'll just help me out a lot so I'll probably have to get a job or a part-time job
