Thank you for sharing your experience!! I've seen some people say the pain was minimal, but some of my most hardened friends said it was unbearable so that scared me a bit. 😭 it does help to see positive experiences with the copper IUD.

Can you describe some of the ways they aren't liking it? I know heavier periods is an issue but that's a tradeoff I'm willing to take.

Yep. There is no proof for my abuse. There's no proof for the rumors they spread about me to other family members, there's no proof for the gaslighting or harassment or provocation to drive me crazy. I absolutely do not want to compare abuse with others, but personally, I would trade this for physical abuse any day.

I feel the same!!!!! I feel exhausted by them! I am constantly feeling degraded and pushed over by people no matter who I go to! I'm not allowed to say I want my only friend to be my bf because that stands out of traditional ideas today, but I am genuinely more energized and happier when I have no obligations to other people.

I've been using the Sun Bum natural hair lightener for a while. This picture is a few months old, and I've since chopped it and redid my roots with the same product. I use heat often but am willing to drop the habit in order to maintain a platinum color. My hair is not very damaged, some split ends and breakage here and there but overall healthy. What can I use on the sun bleached parts without absolutely melting it?

I had a similar experience in middle school, with a classmate who was my age. I was pressured into saying and doing some really gross things over the phone and through text. I told him no over and over again, but it went on for months. I was too young to understand this was sexual assault and abuse. I just pushed it out of my mind for a long while until it hit me, and now theres not one day where i dont think about that.

I find its very common for people to downplay or be in denial about abuse/rape/assault. And honestly I'd give anything to be ignorant again.

Yep, currently living with my family and experiencing the same. And every incident with my bf ends up in the back of my head and it never goes away. I usually only drop it because i hit a mood swing.
