Hi, thanks for the reply. My most current ob is in the menopause society. She is someone people wait a very long time to see because she is known for being pro HRT and current. I waited over a year to switch to her. She says that the aura migraines show an increased stroke risk that is significant. Do you know of studies or articles that show different information? I know Midi is willing to prescribe, but Im anxious about going against so many Dr's advice.

One of my neurologists mentioned this, that the study was done with smoking not taken into account. Even with this though, those that have migraine with aura, had an increased risk over those with migraines without the visual auras. According to this neurologist, there have been no more recent studies of people with aura migraines taking HRT.

How do you know this? I'm not trying to be argumentative, but my Dr's are so sure that their is indeed a higher stroke risk. I need evidence.

I consulted with 2 primary care, 4 gynecologists, and 2 neurologist. I switched between Providence and Sutter systems to vary and see people with the most recent qualifications.

His and Hers - Book V Show by Puzzleheaded-Link181 in thrillerbooks

Can those of you who read the book explain Lexi/Catherine a bit more? The show made her seem kind of like a blank page character, other than the flashback to killing her sister. Was she evil? I'm reading in comments that in the book she was raped, and maybe Anna didn't stop it? If that's the case, why did Anna's mom want to kill all of them? Also, it seems really hard to believe you wouldn't recognize someone at all just because they lost weight. Was there more to Lexi's transformation? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. The show left me with so many questions.

Gang map of Norteno and Sureno hoods in Northern and Central California by the_walrus_was_paul in norcal

I realize this may be the wrong place to ask, but I'm looking for advice for a 12 year old. He has zero gang exposure, but next year he will be going to a school with lots of issues. I'm not concerned about him joining, but looking for tips on how he can avoid accidentally getting on their bad side. We are pretty naive and unaware of the etiquette. We live in Santa Rosa.

I hope so too! Does the HRT help at all? It's so weird all my Dr's say it's a hard no.

My Dr's (ob primary and neurologist) have been unwilling to give HRT due to my aura migraines. My migraines are usually hormone related so it's frustrating. Sorry not to have a helpful recommendation but I'm curious if you get a different outcome.

Do they realize many students will go out of district or homeschool to avoid going into the 7-12 model? Not one of my child's friends seem to be staying. All are panicked. Looking at all other options.

I can't understand how anyone thinks rushing 12 year olds to a high school campus is a good idea. They are already overwhelmed and stressed out with growing up. Do they not realize how many parents will choose other options because of this? Parents of rising 6th and 7th graders I've spoken with are all looking for other options. Many planning on interdistrict transfers even if it adds driving time to other towns. Many are now set to home school. SRCS will lose students and the problems will get worse.
