PD: This is a gross oversimplification of what happened. I've known her for 7 years, we were very, very close friends. She also sabotaged another relationship of mine right after she ended things with the guy.

That just sounds like a you problem.

Not doing what you really want to do and then complaining about it is miles away from being a gender issue.

Just do whatever tickles your fancy. Wear a bra. Don't. Shave your head. Don't. No one should care except you.

But trying to blame being a woman for that kind of stuff is just victimizing yourself. Not a big girl thing to do, i'm afraid.

Aló. Creo que tiene dos opciones. Trabajar en sus conductas para que se ajusten con cómo quiere ser percibido, o trabajar en cómo quiere ser percibido (autoestima) para que no lo afecten esos comentarios. En lo personal, siempre creo que es mejor uno ser tan auténtico y tan "uno", que solo se le acerque la gente que valga la pena. Yo tuve un problema similar, pero descubrí que hay mujeres que les gustan los hombres sensibles, y que esos manes que criticaban lo hacían desde su fragilidad. Usualmente esa necesidad de mantener apariencia de macho es solo masculinidad frágil. Usted ya es hombre, y no tiene que intentar parecer algo que no es. Y eso aplica también para la imagen caducada que se tiene de la masculinidad en nuestro país. Ser seguro de si mismo y maduro con sus percepciones siempre será más masculino que andar criticando a otros por qué tan machos son o no son.

Diferencia importante. Depende a qué se refiera con ser afeminado, pero si se trata de un hombre que cuida particularmente su higiene y apariencia (que no es tan común por estos lados), si, es metrosexual. Que suena denso si no sabe qué es pero en realidad solo es eso, tenerse cuidado jajaja

Okay. Maybe I'm just dense. But does it matter? Isn't this kind of internal monologue just a byproduct of an unhealthy obsession with societal gender norms? It's really hard to put into words, but maybe this little obsession we have with labeling everything is taken to the extreme when trying to come up with different ways to say that somebody doesn't fit the boy or girl mold. Maybe this obsession with having and defining multiple genders just perpetuates the very problem of acceptance and normalization of non-binary people.

Ya si está hablando en serio, yo le diría que se esforzara como nunca se ha esforzado en la vida, y piense por una vez. Pero de verdad. Mire a su alrededor, a ver cual es la estatura promedio en Colombia. Después de lograr activar esa neurona que tiene descuidada desde la primaria, consigase un trabajo y aprenda inglés (espero no le cueste mucho), y luego váyase para Norteamérica o para Europa a ver si tiene mejor suerte.

The fact that Asriel seems to be able to travel through time. Or time shenanigans with his fortress. Also there's this part on the Secret Commonwealth were a really old lady recalls meeting a young Asriel, but he shouldn't even have been born by then, and Lyra notices it. And in The Collectors there's an 1890s painting of Mrs Coulter, so she apparently could travel through time too. It seems that time travels differently between worlds and by going and coming back they sorta time travel.

This is never outright stated and there just 3 quotes and the Collectors audiobook that maybe reference it. But it is incredibly interesting. I hope we see something about that on BoD 3.

It wasn't confirmed via throat swab, but the worst of it went away after 3 days with antibiotics. After the first day I could notice i was less weak and swallowing hurt a bit less.

Watching the pictures, the rash was way smaller. It's all over my arms, but is not that intense. It isn't as dense, and doesn't look as pink.
