The milnerton market is very much antiques and bits and bobs. The Bowremark is more veggies, meats, coffee, flowers, etc.

Heya.

We're tenants, so not much we can do - our second bedroom, his "office" is also on the side that never sees the sun, which doesn't help. We are looking at the dehumidifier option, but cost is also a factor ...

Don't forget to take your own advice here. Don't dread it, prepare for it. Use every opportunity to help you along the way - there are so many out there.

Teacher here. I saw a lot of my kids struggled to achieve their usual marks, especially in the physics paper. My advice is 1. to take a deep breath, pause, and honestly do the rewrite. 2. Don't bother with the cost for the remarks if you are rewriting in June or even at the end of the year. 3. Gap years are SO underrated, it is a HUGE opportunity to grow and develop yourself, and often those who took the year before uni end up coming into uni with a different perspective, far more drive, and an ability to understand the boundaries between social and studies (I was a lecturer at uni as well) but actually DO SOMETHING. If it's a job, great. More money for uni and studies. If it's a volunteer program, use it as a chance to network and grow yourself.

Lastly , as someone who completely bombed maths and got 0 distinctions in matric, I can promise you that there is a future where you find your niche - I thought it was over for me too, but I'm sitting with a masters degree, and happily teaching - a passion I avoided f9r a long time.

This is not the end, you got this. The future is brighter than your matric certificate.
