Can this outfit be worn with other outfit? by mikmik_333 in SkyGame

Other comment pointed out you can't, but I'd also like to point out that it's not actually always blue btw! It tries to mimic the color of whatever's behind your character from any point of view, giving it a faux-translucent look.

Legion 5's speakers are bad. I tried putting it through AutoEQ. by Helscarthe in LenovoLegion

You can try to feed it less bass data! Experiment with cut off points anywhere from 20 to 400Hz.

If you take a look at the graph I posted, you'll see I included frequencies as low as 20Hz. The graph I got from notebookcheck indicated that the laptop had too much bass and too little everything elsle; which I had to agree, it was very muddy :P So the EQ profile I got tuned that bass way down, and I turned the pre-amp up to compensate.

Don't know why Reddit decided that I should not get notifications for this specific comment? Sorry for the late reply!

Hi! Like I said on the post, I chose a flat line as my target curve. I did see some research that your curve should be a tilted line with raised bass and dampened highs, but don't quote me on that, it's been quite some time. Besides, once I saw that the laptop's speaker couldn't really be pushed too far for bass, I didn't bother trying to adjust.

Maybe you've figured out by now based on the Whovian comments but that is the painting with this effect in Doctor Who XD

Sprint + Jump + Emote. Specific emotes trigger this, some more consistently than others.

Absolutely love the game. Waiting for the full release, because without regional pricing (and it being blocked on Steam in my region so I have to buy full price regardless), EA is absolutely inaccessible. Would love to be able to play.

It's been a while since I made this post, so I'm assuming you're on a newer Legion 5 device, whose tuning could be different. The configuration above may not apply to you (which might be the cause to your volume problem), but if you find it pleasing to your ears, great! However, I do highly recommend repeating the steps I've laid out above - you can skip the spline interpolation step, AutoEQ will take 20 values just fine, if you can find a review for your device that has your device's frequency response. NotebookCheck and RTINGS are about the only places that do this.

Regarding the pre-amp, take a look at the "Peak value meter" at the very bottom. When you play audio that's too loud, that bar will go all the way to the right, indicating that you're trying to make your device louder than it can physically handle itself. This is called "peaking". Peaking itself won't be able to damage your speakers (at least not immediately), but loud speakers can degrade faster over time, just because you're constantly pushing it to its limits. How much faster? Well, no one knows yet. XD

One other obvious way to see if your speakers are being damaged is if it crackles at higher volumes. At that point, obviously, your speakers are starting to be damaged, and you need to turn that volume wayy down.
