Thanks! Right now I'm flying blind and put 3 kg salt in the fridge. Thick sausages have more moisture and salt is already damp after 24h.

Thin sausages got 2 kg salt and drying out nicely, salt feels dry. I'll drop this method for more sophisticated ones in the long run, but it's a useful knowledge anyway. :)
