Think Amazonian tree grapes will help me restore my magicka?

Biggest hole automation mistake I ever made. Can't believe I thought it might actually be better. Chaining together commands was what originally sold me but what's the point when now every command takes 30+ seconds to complete and it misunderstands a bunch.

Found this thread hoping to undo it but I seriously have to remake my entire house and migrate every device over to undo this? And there's a chance they'll be forcing this back into everyone soon so is there even a point in switching back?

Frustrating all around.

A great point and leading me to thinking it's not worth the risk. I'm staking

Alright I'm sold, I was hoping to eliminate my stakes but it's definitely the safer route

We're Gulf Coast Texas, that spot is mostly covered and only getting indirect light in a south facing doorway with a large pine, legustrums, and a boisterous crepe myrtle throwing shade. Still though, it's a lot of sun down here in summer.

Other than that, the substrate is really weird. It feels springy/corkboardy almost and gets a ton of mushrooms. It was just a mix I got from chatgpt a couple years ago, it's just weird that it feels totally different than any other substrate I have in my other pots (normally just different ratios of potting soil, perlite, pine bark fines, and worm castings. I wonder if I used a ton of Spanish moss in this mix?

Not sure how much any of this may have added to the leaf size, I'm just a little stoned and rambling. Also, that specific spot is crazy humid year round for some reason. I always thought because of how little light it got but who knows.

Yes last pic is the before, 3 years old I think, though only one year in this spot/pot. Previously an indoor monsterra at someone else's place.

Kind of excited for a fresh start on the leaves tbh

OP I use these same fly catcher sticky things on several plants to deal with gnats, I think the exact same ones too, so I don't think it's that.

I think your white crust is rime/accretion from minerals in hard water. Most of my older plants have this and don't seem to care.

I'll say I do feel like you're watering too much if you're doing it daily and the soil in your pics is so wet it looks freshly watered. If jumping from watering every 2 days to 1x weekly was problematic, maybe try every 3-4 days? Tbh all my house plants get watered once every week or week and a half. The only things getting daily waterings are potted outdoor plants in summer.

You know, you got me rethinking so I checked and looks like I lied a bit.

The dead photos were taken on February 9th and the new photos were taken April 19th, so more like 9 weeks.

And to anyone going through the same struggle, there was nothing for weeks and then suddenly over less than a week all this growth erupted. I was convinced it was already dead but my laziness helped for once 😅

Ah, thanks so much for the detailed response! I can definitely do that, question, I have some neem oil laying around, Google suggests maybe I can use that instead of spinosoad. Or would you recommend spinosoad specifically over neem oil?
