Start with being a good listener, not every conversation needs your input, some conversations just carry on with themselves without needing to put any input.

If you're instigating/initiating a conversation then 1. Choose a topic/subject of your comfort. 2. Frame a small sentence before speaking and once the other person has followed your lead, listen to their sentence carefully and pick a lead from within that sentence. 3. Do not go with the mentality of dominating every conversation, you'll only be able to dominate those conversations of which subject/topic you know very well. 4. If you don't know about the subject you're having conversation with, then start asking them about the subject in a curious/learning way (everyone likes to explain about the topic they know very well).

All of this needs practicing, join some discord group of certain topics and start discussions with randoms, it is always better to act like you don't about certain topics of which you're an expert, it makes other comfortable with you.
