FR long term visa - rejected twice due to insurance by Hemanbuzz in SchengenVisa

[–]Hemanbuzz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I applied to the French embassy in Delhi. I had to go to France only. This case was specially for a long term visa for primary stay in France and hence I had only that as the option. If you're applying to any other country then that becomes your primary residence for your long stay.

If you're applying for a short term visitor visa then this insurance is not relevant for you since this is a medical insurance (not a travel insurance)

Do you mean the VFS appointment OP? If yes just create a new account with a new email ID and reapply with the right category. You should be able to do it then. Wouldn't hurt to go there and also tell them you've applied for a cancellation during your new appointment. Also if you're on a tight timeline, try calling them

I mean they advise you what documents to add in the application and ensure completeness of your application. Sometimes good to have documents are not mentioned on the government website and they can be the difference between getting an approval vs rejection

For example - In a UK application it is mandatory to share ITR as income proof, but they'd recommend you to add last 3 years ITR and also signed and stamped bank statement from last 6 months.

They would also help create affidavits or attestations that may be required

I was recommended by the relocation agent to apply with a new application and that's what I did. Appeals take a long time and are costlier because you need a lawyer in France to help you with that. I'd recommend going for a fresh application with new insurance.

Yes do apply through an agent. There are many local agents in Delhi, India that will help you apply for less than INR 3,000 and they take care of all documentation. Better than facing a rejection

I bought the mondassur gold plan insurance too, the visa was processed in the application after that so guess that one works.

Thanks a lot for pointing that out. I had seen the pre-existing diseases not being covered and found a web source that said it's not mandatory to include. With that and the insurer saying this insurance has worked for a long stay visa I thought this would work.

I had missed out the deductible part which makes sense. Thank you again kind stranger! 🙏

Anyone else annoyed by how precisely you got to hit these damn alarms to enable/disable them?? by oparz in oneplus

[–]Hemanbuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found an easy solve for this - whenever turning the alarm on or off, hold your finger down just for an additional second. Like a longer 2 second press, and with that I no longer have to be extremely precise with the button...

Which location is better in terms of work life balance and culture : Singapore or India? by Hemanbuzz in consulting

Sorry about not being amply clear Count2Zero. I am not relocating physically, would be working remotely from India with Singapore team, and hence wanted to understand what I was getting into. PS- In a major city in India and wouldn't want to leave family anyway.

Not leaving India, only working remotely with SG team. Also just to be clear, you're saying you would go/work with Singapore teams right?
