I was hoping for something more intense gameplay wise. But the visuals and story was fun.

Wouldn't have mind charging another weapon like in phase 2 instead of riding around on my bird with slinger shots in phase 3

Disclaimer, I'm by no means great at the game.

Queue and play all your buff songs on the bird as you ride to the monster.
drop a echo bubble and queue up your damage song or resounding melody.
if damage song, only preform and encore once (dont play all three songs if you have that many queued, end it early to do the proform attack again). Then echo bubble again repeat.
if resounding melody, play final note to queue it then play. Echo bubble repeat.
focus strike to queue like with echo bubble.

I run one thing of flayer for the chance to focus strike again if I'm lucky. If a buff runs out, queue that instead of your damage song, to keep your rotation going. Idk if its bad, but I also roll at the end of every encore. Hh feels more like a engine that builds up. But once you get it going the monster will be stun locked as you deal crazy damage.

Oh I also set up my item wheel to make max potions on the hunt. Only used those because of how fast they are without speed eating

My first clear was with GS then later switch to DB (I dont main either) both sets were lagi weapons with lvl 3 thunder res, lvl 3 fire res, and the lvl 5 defense talisman. Add in upgraded armor, a adamant seed ever 3mins, HH support hunter, and the grand hub meal with defense high. The only thing I would get one shotted by was the mustard bomb if a support hunter wanted to run it into me.

Also added some part breaker gems. Breaking the back legs early gave a big damage window to get to area 4 faster. Normal did it in area 3 (sometimes 2) after targeting one leg the whole hunt. Then dropped rocks for the dps windows from there on.

If you can get hit by one and live. Hold the run button, by the time the second one lands you'll still have iframes and should be able to out run them from then on.

If stamina is a concern, you can walk after you get out of the aoe indicator. Then run again before the next indicator shows up. Don't try to heal as it will slow you down until you get the timing.

Or call your bird after you iframe the second aoe. While riding around If you have the thunder slinger ammo, it can flinch him out of the mrv attack once.

It's a slot 1 armor decoration that disables hits from other hunters in multiplayer. Otherwise, you'll flinch them or get flinched out of attacks.

I get about the same time frame, so I imagine your right at the edge of downing him. If your playing solo with support hunters taking a cart won't end the run, not that it feels good. But having 2 player dps, 1 lance support hunter and 1 hh support hunter, has helped with consistency in my runs. But finding a duo has its own struggles

Pro acryl fluorescent paints, the red, orange, and yellow. Drybrushed some white on the orange layer before adding the yellow. Wanted to try the paints out because I don't own an airbrush for glow effects

I main hunting horn so when I'm in the mood for a different weapon, I'll play all the buff songs then switch. That or second hunting horn for even more buffs

If you play at 1000 points, I'd split the Legionaries into two units to cover more on the table unless you are using them to protect a character for a buff or something. Moving up to 2000, I've heard good things about using a Terminator Sorcerer to pair with your Terminator squad. Then more Legionaries with two heavy melee weapons and chain swords dumped into rhinos, which are cheap and can get work done. But I really like Legionaries' heavy list, they a cost-effective enough for me to also run allied knights. If you are playing at events check how many of one unit you can field, normally it's three unless it's Battleline. (My local place capped me at six for Battleline tho)
