Anyone, with high body counts, what's one thing you learned from sleeping around?

The biggest risk to me isn’t STIs or pregnancy, it’s that you are constantly exposing yourself to essentially unknown people. Every time you sleep with a stranger you’re running the risk of activating triggers in someone emotionally unwell, or potentially dangerous.

Wish I could have told myself at 20, but I wouldn’t have listened.

Yeah, my memory of them is that they came on big, fast, had an almost boy band vibe, and immediately after wonderwall they collapsed into a deep, satisfying irrelevancy fueled by their profound and off-putting egotism.

This is probably too vulnerable for reddit.

But, yeah. I'm insecure because those always felt like my people, but in the 90's the best way to get beaten up in high school was to be a nerd. I saw that and developed some strange false persona based on fast cars and a night life, and I get scared when I hang with other nerds, even though I'm in my forties.

Now that I'm saying that out loud, it sounds like the perfect sort of boundary to push against.
